 Stone foundations, the lower courses of which are encased in mud from the decomposed superstructure. Many small stones on the foundations and in the mud, probably from the decomposed brick (though Hussein disagrees, thinking that they’re chinking stones). turrets on southern corners. On a ridge with an excellent view of the wadi below.
